Self Esteem Doesn't Come in a Bottle

Why is it that we are trained to believe that if we use that bottle of "magic" that we're going to feel better about ourselves? What is it in that bottle that is going to make us feel more beautiful and authentic to others? Why is it that people think that Botox is going to make people love them more? Many times Kelly was given a bottle of something that was promised to make her scars disappear and make her beautiful. She knew no matter what it wouldn't work, she knew that her self esteem and beauty had to come from her heart and soul not from the faulty magic.

You will learn how this burn survivor didn't feel the need to cover up her scars in order to feel beautiful and greater than great.

In this keynote you will learn:

  • 10 of her self esteem secrets to feeling greater than great
  • How to stop depending on other people's opinions
  • How to give yourself permission to feel great
  • What action to take in order to develop your self esteem

This interactive keynote is great for teenagers, women's groups, men, charities/associations and in the workplace. There is also an action guide available for optional all-day workshops.

Quitting isn't an Option

In today's world, it's so easy to quit and not even try to succeed, or we're faced with an obstacle and instead of trying to see it as an opportunity to change directions and move forward, people find it easier to just give up and say they it didn't work. This keynote goes deep into Kelly's life story about how she had her near-death experience when she was only 2-years-old and was given her first opportunity to quit life. She also talks about options she was given in her personal and business lives and how if she would have quit the million times she could have, she never would have become the success she is today. She shows you how quitting just isn't an option and if the two-year-old didn't quit, neither should you.

This interactive keynote is great for women's groups, men's groups, charities/associations and in the corporate workplace.

The Power of Inner Beauty

Let’s face it in today’s society there is high pressure for girls and women to look a certain way and to feel bad about themselves as they compare themselves to models in magazines and impossible ideals. Kelly knows this one very intimately as a burn survivor since the age of 2, Kelly has had to redefine her definition of beauty. As a child and as a teen she faced all of the pressures that we have all had to face but with the extra challenge of her appearance being affected by her burn scars.

Kelly faced one of her biggest fears, walking the runway and competing in a beauty pageant. All her life she avoided the spotlight, but this time she faced it head on. Kelly nominated herself for the Every Woman, Fashion Has No Borders model search competition for two reasons; one to challenge herself and to prove to the world that inner beauty is what counts.

In this keynote you will learn:

  • About the journey towards accepting your beauty and how to face you fears
  • Exercises on how to discover that your true beauty comes from within
  • A new perspective on how to reconcile outer and inner beauty so that you feel fantastic about you

This interactive keynote is for teen and young women groups, women groups and associations.

No Risks, No Rewards  - How to Take the Risks to Gain the Rewards

Why are most of us so afraid to take risks? Do you often look at other people’s success and think you can’t have the same rewards? Kelly has a very unique viewpoint on risks because as a burn survivor at the age of two, just leaving the house every day was a huge risk. Would she be teased, or picked on or ridiculed in some way? How would she face the risks and rise above them and become a confident child and woman?

In this inspiring keynote Kelly shares how she made the choice to take the risks because her desire for the rewards outweighed the risks. She will share how she takes risks and how you can too.

In this keynote you will learn:

  • How to train your brain to think in a different way so that you are more willing to take the risks  you want to take
  • How to ‘just walk out the door’ no matter what you think others might say, think or do to you
  • How to decide what you really want so that the rewards are far bigger than any of the risks
  • Create a  ‘big reward’ plan with ways to follow through on the risks

This interactive keynote is for teen groups, women’s groups, sales groups and association groups

Self Esteem in a DAY!

Did you know that 50% of teenagers feel ugly? Even in today's world where we have so many programs focused on generating great self-esteem for teenagers, they still feel ugly. Kelly shares how she was labelled as the "ugly scar-faced" girl and how she learned to love herself and feel great. She takes the teenagers through interactive exercises and helps them think on a different level and know what really matters in life. Amanda shares her stories about how she was bullied as a young child because of her speech impediment and how she overcame all the obstacles to become a Woman of Distinction.

This interactive keynote is great for teenagers and facilitated in conjunction with Amanda Welliver from Paradigm Esteem.
